Q: Why am I finding such a wide range of prices from DJ services?

A: No two DJ services are the same. Some will charge you for set-up and take down, some for mileage, and some will even charge more for “special DJs”! As similar as events may seem, they are not. Each has their own personal touch and is custom tailored to meet the client’s needs. At Beat by Beat we provide you more for your money by staying competitive in the marketplace.

Q: Can we select the music to be played?

A:  Absolutely! We welcome your choices and will be happy to play what you want. There are usually a variety of ages to please and we have clean music for all available. Many clients will choose some of their favorites and leave room for guest requests. If you are uncertain about the music, you can also just leave it up to us, and we will play to the crowd accordingly. Q: Will the DJ make announcements or act as emcee for the evening?

A: We will make any necessary announcements and keep your guests informed throughout the event, but only at your request. Other then that, it is up to you. Do you want a high energy active DJ or a more reserved DJ? Our mantra is that it’s not the Beat by Beat Entertainment show, it’s your wedding.  Clearly we’ll need to make some announcements throughout the evening (like introductions, first dances, etc) Ultimately we will be flexible to your changing needs throughout the event.

Q: What will the DJ wear?

A: Your DJ will wear a suit and tie unless you ask for something different. We look and act professionally at all times. However, if you’d like us in something else less formal or even theme clothing, let us know in advance. We are willing to accommodate your choice

Q: What is Beat by Beat Entertainment’s cancellation policy?

A: You may cancel your event at anytime. If cancelled within 48 hours all monies outside of the $200 deposit are refundable.

Q: Will you meet with us before the event and will we meet the DJ?

A: 100% YES! Remember, great parties don’t happen by accident. We will meet with you as many times as you require for no additional charge. Your DJ should help you coordinate, organize and help plan your party itinerary to maximize you and your guest’s enjoyment of your celebration. Beat by Beat Entertainment makes this a major part of their entertainment service.  For weddings, generally we like to meet with you two times.  Once for the initial consultation and again around two weeks before the wedding to plan all the details.

Q: How much music do you have and can we pick our music?

A:  We have thousands of songs (all clean edits) and the library grows weekly. Given the average is 15-20 songs per hour, we have more than enough music to handle your event. We do welcome all suggestions before the event. Whether you want a more targeted style of music or customized show based on your specific music requests, we’ll work with you to meet your expectations.  We find it’s most effective if your “must play” list is around 15-20 songs.  This allows our entertainers the maximum amount of flexibility to please your guests at the show.

Q: Why are your prices so low (yes we get this one a lot)?

A: We have very limited overhead as compared to some of the larger entertainment companies. Owner, Fran Wurster, feels that all his clients should get “excellent entertainment at an excellent price”. We feel that by providing you a great product at a great service you will think of us for your next event. We are about retention not bookings.
